286th entry> Can't get enough

Second assignment for MA2108 is out, and I am totally lost looking at the questions. KCY looks so docile and kind on the outside, but when it comes to setting questions and teaching contents, he is one evil and sick guy! How good can you feel, flipping through your notes, looking at those long proofs, but not understanding anything? Life of a Maths major.

Was asking my friends, "We always called Medicine school people 'the Doctors', Law school people 'the Lawyers', do you think they will refer us as 'the Scientists'?" They doubt so, and so do I.

Wasted one whole day sitting in MPSH5 playing Bridge yesterday. Sports comm should really brush up on their organising and communication skills. It is not "he never come report to me how many people are coming", but instead it should be "I should go find out how many people are coming". Don't blame others for your own incapability. Drop the title if you know you can't do it because you're not trying your best.

That is why whenever a leadership position is offered, not EVERYBODY will run for it. Understanding yourself is the key issue here. Not EVERYONE can be leaders. You must know your weakness. Don't just assure others that you will "try your best" because your innate character plays a part here. What if you are a perfectionist, who doesn't want others to screw up your ideal schedule of work? What if you are someone who is overly sensitive and will sink into depression whenever something doesn't go with the flow of what you have planned? These are not things which will just fade away after you have assumed the position.

Have no idea whats direct sum of subspaces and is currently having a really bad time figuring out MA2101 as well.

Sprained my neck when sleeping at a lecture recently. This is what I call KARMA.

Another form of KARMA: I wasn't able to upload my CZ assignment from home, and wasn't informed by the lecturer as well. I had to go to school to upload and worse still, school computer labs are closed on Saturdays! -mental screams- Rushed over to SOC and tried finding a com lab to access the program. There was one open, but a tutorial was ongoing inside. Spotted someone entering a com lab that says "Only for CS21++" students. Waved at him and asked him to let me enter. Told him my problem and he tried to help me. But the information I gave was too confusing for him to assist me. ZLX was being an ass by telling me to google the program myself and download it! He has absolutely no idea how frantic I was when the assignment is due on that day itself! Computing student commented "Your lecturer is not helping you at all" which is pretty obvious! Thank goodness YS managed to find the program from Dartmouth College page and I finally uploaded my homework. Thanks a lot YS!

Pool was frustrating yesterday. Decided I need to have some private training sessions with Belle before I bet with Tes again.

Can't wait for IFG on Mon(:
