243rd entry> Workaholic
Work is getting more lively. BUT THEN AGAIN. We are ruining our reputation there! HAHA but its still funny. :D
Let me start with the good stuff! The pantry is stocked up for the new month! So there's actually like ALOT of food now! And coffee and cereal and milo and many different type of tea! Fiona kept eyeing the cartons of sealed food on the 31st of May which was the last day of the week. We didn't dare to open it up UNTIL we came back on monday, we saw the food cartons opened and nicely spread like some buffet for us! And so...we took a whole tin of Danish butter cookies and started eating as if there were no tomorrow!
Top layer of Danish butter cookies GONE! We were actually having a small buffet at our desk. We were quite mild already. We saw this lady from logistics carrying a pile of biscuits and food on one arm (as if she's carrying a baby) and on the other hand, holding a Sheng Siong plastic bag filled with stuffs too. She looked as if she's a refugee and dying of hunger can!? The instant she walked past us, me and Fiona looked at each other. Stunned and too surprised to say anything.
Fiona has this love to prank call people. HAHA and I plotted the story line. Poor people who fell into the trap - KK. People whom we failed to prank - WanJin, Ruirui and Belle. People whom we wanted to try but couldn't get through - YongMing.
KK is one gullible dude. He actually believed what I said about NTU tea session. Worse thing is, me as the planner of tea session at NTU, I didn't even get his course name correct. I said "computer science" and then he said, "err.. its actually computing science." "Oh thats right, computing science." "So when is it? And where is it held?" "Oh...please give me a moment while I finalise the details." -put phone on hold- Then I started discussing with Fiona swiftly so as not to make KK wait for too long. And ended up we just say 11-1 on Sat, at Mariott Hotel. We made it so real that KK was extremely glad that he was invited to the tea session. Sumimasen KK! It was purely a joke and we did it out of boredom. There won't be a second time! You're too nice to us all!
WanJin was smart to evade it. It was totally because the speaker was very lousy. Fiona kept saying "hello" cos she couldn't hear properly and was feeling super excited. (Excited because it was WanJin) Whenever she started laughing, she pushed the receiver towards me! -.-lll Hello?! What am I suppose to do? Then she started to giggle. Ginselle's case as well. Belle's too. If only I did it.
One ultra important factor why I should be doing the prank calls instead of Fiona is because, Fiona talks TOO LOUDLY. I was trying to hush her down for about five to six times when she was prank calling Belle. But she refused to tone down. She has a misconception of formal calls. Formal = loud = voice will be calm. She got us so screwed today!
We know we're two extremely noisy girls. We have always been the ones playing music, talking loudly on the phones (actually not WE its HER), laughing at small gossips and everything, OH and Fiona was trumpeting away (She blew her nose so hard, that I really hope she could go louder). We were told by YiRong once to on our music softer. She totally reminds me of Judith. The way she talks, her hair. But two very obvious different is that, Judith is very tan and YiRong is very fair, secondly, YiRong is very tall! And Judith isn't that tall. :D Anyway, I respect YiRong a lot, cos of the resemblance with my beloved captian. Back to the story. I'm sure a lot of people have been complaining that the two of us are very noisy. I bet everyone in Claudia and YiRong's room (which were right beside our table) can hear us laugh and giggle whenever we plan to prank call someone. But thank goodness, they didn't sack us. We are efficient and competent in solving problems, so please do not sack us!
I know you must have endured quite a lot ever since we started camping outside your office. But I believe to think it this way: You are enduring every laugher of ours, as they remind you of the happy moments that you USED TO have; You feel your heart bleeding profusely whenever you listen to our small heated discussions as they reminded you of your childhood besties; You hate us for being so cheerful and lively, which you can never attain anymore at this age of yours; You wish you don't have to see the happiness in our eyes, so you always avoided communicating with us; You don't want to lose your face as people might think you're giving newbies a tough time at the office and therefore, you chose the right time to tell us to quieten down; You like to bootlick, and when you do that, you exclaim it in an amazing HIGH pitch and LOUD voice so that the whole corridor can hear that you are sooooo extremely nice to the LadyBoss; You love to put your shirt collar up because it reminds you of the hip times when you were young, however you know your bones are not up to the challenge now; You love being a bitch. And after saying this all, I know I love being a bitch too. At least, you're an old virgin (as what WanJin likes to say) and I'm just a youngster! We have too much in difference, that I don't think I can discuss it now. I bet you told everyone about us, and I really did sense that, everytime you close your glass door, its because its too noisy outside. "Please tone down your volume, I'm trying to concentrate in here!" Oh please Irritatingly-idiotic-bootlicker-giraffe who loves to impress people with her coolness-in-folding-up-your-collar, get a life and stop being jealous of us! You have offended the wrong people! Any more things you're gonna say, we gonna get WanJin to ---- down your house! :D YOU ARE MESSING UP WITH THE WRONG GIRLS.
I haven't bitched enough. But I guess I gotta go sleep soon.
Fiona really is incredible. She's a proud StarHub customer service executive! There was this customer who sounded pissed when she wrote to us regarding her pending order. We were all afraid to call her and Fiona boldly took up the challenge. She called the customer and managed to solve the problem!

Money is easy earned. However, we felt more stressed than compared to StarHub. This company is not very well established. There's a lot of loopholes in their management and logistics. Customers are unhappy about the service that we provide them. Then again, they are already trying their best to improve the situation. Today, Dorris, YiRong and Hama went down personally to Halleys and match the missing and unidentified packages. They brought back many of the packages that have gone missing for a long time. Have a good rest today guys! I bet it felt like you're having a boring exercise. And hope I get my replies for the many pending cases that I have!
I HATE IT! Irritating drunkards. Bleah.
And I love Steph Jiejie! HAHA i promised her this :D
Soon there's a science camp for the science faculty! Can't wait to go with Kellyn! HuiPing will not be available. I CAN'T WAIT!
Time to sleep. We need to write a recommendation letter for the great taxi uncle tomorrow. Hope we've got time at work! Love you all!~
